The film depicts the struggle of group of theatre artists from the Marathi theatre industry. They want to enter films but the path of Bollywood is very difficult due to intense competition and only a few can achieve this goal. Realizing this fact, the leader of the group Vinayak decides to make his own way to Bollywood and on the way he finds love. Ultimately the path chosen by Vinayak becomes a test for him and his group.
